Key Responsibilities – Deputy Manager Production (SOS)

The team needs to create, establish, and manage complete production processes for SOS and Carrier bags. The team needs to reach their production targets while they maintain product standards and manage costs and deliver products according to their planned schedule. The team needs to control employee work schedules and machine operation and the use of basic materials. The team needs to fix manufacturing issues which cause production stoppages. The team executes continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste and improve business performance. The team needs to work together with Marketing and Quality Assurance and Procurement and Vendors and HSE and Logistics teams. The team manages design development from initial artwork creation through to the finished product. The team handles all maintenance tasks for mechanical equipment used in machine operations and workshop work. The production team needs to set up all operational production lines according to proper setup and calibration processes which will enable them to meet product changeover requirements based on dimensional standards. The production team needs to follow food safety rules together with industry best practices during SOS manufacturing on production floors.

Requirements & Skills

The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. The candidate must possess between seven to ten years of experience across SOS packaging and paper conversion industries which includes work in Production Planning and Engineering. The candidate possesses advanced expertise in all aspects of flexographic printing design development. The candidate demonstrates effective leadership abilities while maintaining strong communication skills and establishing good relationships with others. The applicant must possess essential knowledge about SAP software.
